Toronto Core
I lived in Toronto for a few years quite a while ago and these are the things that shaped my memory of the great city. Inspired by Saigon Core and Toronto Core. Most of these places will be shut or changed entirely by now but this is a time capsule within my head.
- An evening at Roy Thomson Hall listening to the Toronto Symphony Orchestra
- Fried Chicken, Pulled Pork Bao and Duck Confit Banh Mi from Banh Mi Boys
- The far too spicy Kothu Roti from Saffron Spice Kitchen
- Gra Bong from PAI
- Mini donuts and a coffee from Little Nicky's
- A quiet evening in the Aquarium
- Sour cherry slice from Wanda's Pie in the Sky
- A baseball game or concert at the Rogers Centre with the shortest walk home
- A smoothie bowl from Calii Love
- Taco and pineapple salsa from Wilbur
- Lemon Meringue Pie from Patria
- Peanut Butter Sauce with Peanut Crumble from Sweet Jesus
- The banana leaf feast of Filipino food at Lamesa
- The apartment's view of the sunset over the lake
- The fog rolling in with the CN Tower poking through
- Madeleines from Peter Pan Bistro
- Hot Yoga at Yoga Tree
- Sitting on the balcony observing the vibrance of the wildly colourful Toronto sky
